This week, we’re celebrating The Shed Distillery of Drumshanbo, a trailblazing Irish distillery founded by P.J. Rigney in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim. Known for its commitment to curiosity, experimentation, and craft, The Shed Distillery fuses time-honored distilling methods with exotic global botanicals to create some of Ireland’s most distinctive spirits. Each bottle is slow-distilled by hand in traditional copper pot stills, resulting in bold, complex flavors that stand apart from the rest.

Chase Rabideau

A performer of many musical backgrounds, Chase Rabideau is a crowd-centered entertainer with a background in many popular genres. Along with folk/rock centric original music that can be found online, Chase plays over 400 covers in a variety of genres such as rock ‘n roll (50’s, 60’s, 70’s, +more), classic country, folk, R&B, jazz, blues, folk/pub songs from Ireland, (seasonal) Christmas music, and crowd-favorite popular music. Chase is currently booking shows that feature up to 4-hour long performances at wineries, breweries, pubs, and more. Chase also travels with a professional JBL PA system that he runs with ease while delivering high-quality sound.

Join us on Sunday, January 5th, for a special celebration of Nollaig na mBan (pronounced "Null-ig na Mon"), or Women’s Christmas. This cherished Irish tradition, observed on January 6th alongside the Feast of the Epiphany, honors the incredible women who bring light and joy to the holiday season as it comes to a close. Since the pub will be closed on Monday, we’re celebrating a day early.

The Tradition of Nollaig na mBan

Nollaig na mBan is a time-honored Irish celebration that offered women a well-deserved break after the busyness of the Christmas season. Historically, it was a day for women to gather, while men handled household duties. Particularly vibrant in counties like Cork and Kerry, women met in homes, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy tea, festive treats, and stories, savoring the final moments of the holidays together.

In recent years, this tradition has evolved into a joyful celebration of women’s invaluable contributions to family, community, and beyond. Inspired by the heartwarming gatherings of women across Ireland, our afternoon tea invites you to unwind, reflect, and savor the last festive treats of the season with friends and family.

Marking the close of the Christmas season, Nollaig na mBan is the perfect opportunity to toast to the year ahead while embracing this unique Irish tradition. We warmly invite you to relax, reconnect, and immerse yourself in an afternoon tea in the cozy ambiance of Saints & Scholars Irish Pub.

Irish New Year Celebration at 4 pm – Reservations Required

Celebrate the Irish New Year in true Dublin style! Our family-friendly festivities bring the spirit of Ireland to the pub with a live stream of Temple Bar’s New Year celebration. Enjoy party favors, a champagne toast, and lively music by Nick Mardon.

• Time: Each reservation covers a 2-hour slot starting at 2:30 pm - This is only for Irish New Year.

• Reservation Policy: Tables will be held for 10 minutes past your reservation time. After that, reservations will be forfeited.

• Cost: Minimum spend of $35 per adult and $15 per child (12 or under) required.
