Born in the town of Omagh, Co. Tyrone, That Irish Guy was brought up surrounded by folk music. His great grandmother, Sarah Makem was a world famous collector of songs. Her son Tommy Makem of Clancy Brothers fame was a huge influence on his music. He currently resides in Gig Harbor, Washington and plays all over the Northwest.
