In Ireland, Hot Whiskey and Hot Port are cherished pub staples, especially during the colder months:
Hot Whiskey: A quintessential winter warmer, made with Irish whiskey, hot water, brown sugar, cloves, and lemon. It's often enjoyed to soothe the body and lift the spirits.
Hot Port: A sweeter alternative featuring ruby port, spices, and citrus. Though slightly less famous than Hot Whiskey, this rich and comforting drink remains a favorite in Irish pubs, particularly during the Christmas season.
